Municipality Maasmechelen

In the Belgian city of Maasmechelen, the municipality organized a New Year's party with China as the theme. Shinji Entertainment was invited to provide the entertainment for this evening. Upon arrival, the team was escorted to the changing rooms where everyone could change and warm up. The artists were eager to provide another exciting show. After doing some good rehearsals in the weeks before, the team was ready to perform at a top level.

The evening started with a martial arts show provided by our artists. The show featured five performers, including the Chinese mythical creature the 'Monkey King'. During the performance there were demonstrations with various weapons such as spear, halberd, stick and swords. The Monkey King was the crowd favorite. With his mischievous character, flexible body and martial arts he was a real spectacle to watch.

The guests were surprised in the main hall by a lion dance performance, where they were having a networking drink. The lion dance was performed by two lions. Accompanied by the live music, the lions stormed into the hall. The lions danced in sync to the music and played with the audience. The act was a wonderful end to the evening.

When the lion dance performance was over, it was over for everyone. After the artists had finished their meals, the road trip back home started. It was a successful event for both the guests and the team.
