Celebration Malaysian Embassy

Every year, the Chinese New Year is celebrated in the Malaysian restaurant Kampong Kita. The team of Shinji Entertainment was invited to perform a lion dance performance for greater happiness and prosperity in the new year.

The restaurant was filled with enthusiastic and curious diners eager to admire the yellow lion up close. The lion started sleeping outside the door, after which the children were given the task of waking the lion quietly. Once the lion awoke, the lettuce ceremony officially began. The head of lettuce hung high from the ceiling in the center of the restaurant. To get there, the lion carefully moved in through the door.

Once at the head of lettuce, the lion jumped up 2 meters to get to the lettuce. It had worked and the lion had got hold of the lettuce. The lion tore up the head of lettuce in his mouth and then spit it on the seated guests.

The guests were so excited that everyone gave a small envelope with money to the lion for extra luck. The performance ended with 3 bows from the lion and a closing bang from the live music team.
