VIP-dinner at Bijenkorf

On January 29, 2020, several lion dance and dragon dance performances were provided by the artists of Shinji Entertainment in the Bijenkorf in Rotterdam. A VIP dinner was organized on this day especially for the Chinese New Year. Dinner took place in the Bijenkorf restaurant. While enjoying several courses prepared by Chinese chefs, the guests could enjoy the different performances.

Before the dinner started, the shoppers of the Bijenkorf were surprised with a lion dance performance. The loud drums, cymbals and gong created a festive mood in the department store. The lion made it appear everywhere and frequented a number of brands such as Valentino, Louis Vuitton and Gucci.

After the surprise act, the VIP dinner could start with a latuce ceremony. After everyone had taken their seats, a dragon dance performance by our professional artists followed. Despite the narrow paths and round tables, the dragon managed to put on a real spectacle. The dinner ended with a lion dance couple. The orange and yellow lions walked past each table, giving all the guests full attention. The guests had a great time and the dinner was a great success.
