70th anniversary of the Chinese People's Republic

For the 70th anniversary of the Chinese People's Republic, a lion dance performance was performed by Shinji Entertainment on September 17, 2019 in the Doelen Rotterdam. The embassy of China was present for this occasion. Due to the celebration of the 70th anniversary, an eye-dotting ceremony took place.

The eye-dotting ceremony is performed to bring a new lion to life and is usually reserved for special occasions. With the eye-dotting ceremony, the soul of the lion is called into the lion's head by dotting vital parts - including the eyes - with (chicken) blood. The ceremony was conducted by the Ambassador under the guidance of Shinji Entertainment.

After the celebration, Shinji Entertainment's lion family was one lion richer!
